I can't believe there are only two months left in 2013. Yep, let that sink in....
I guess time really does fly when you're having fun, huh?

I am so excited to be co-hosting my first giveaway. I had the opportunity to team up with some fabulous ladies and we are super excited to do this! Make sure you get your entries in!

Thanksgiving is 28 days away and I am sooo ready. Bring on the turkey, sweet potatoes, and games :) Thanksgiving is hubby's favorite holiday and it's so funny to watch him try not to over eat. Last year I got zero pictures from Thanksgiving Day (okay, maybe I got one) so I am hoping to do way better this year.
However, I'm not sure exactly how I am going to achieve that because all of my cameras are out of commission. I don't know how I manage to break a camera every.single.year but it happens without fail. I need some some of camera protection plan or something.

Halloween was a blast this year! The weather was disappointing but the children made the most of it. Hubby and I had a conversation when Buggy was first born as to weather or not we would be celebrating Halloween as a Christian family. We decided that we would be celebrating because a) Halloween is sort of a children's holiday and b) Halloween actually has Christian roots. Of course, as with most Christian traditions pagans inserted more commercialism into it way back when so it's lost ALL of it's Christian meaning (at least in America) so it doesn't seem like a holiday with Christian roots but it is. So bring on the candy and the costumes. Of course we will be limiting candy intake but I think it will be fun allow him to dress up every year.
Next year I want us to do matching/complementing costumes- you know like Woody Andy Jessie and Buzz Lightyear
{Fifth} Thank you all so much for your kind words regarding my miscarriage post earlier this week. I am grateful that you have kept us in your thoughts and prayers. We are just taking it one day at a time. But it's not over for us yet.
Woah two months till the end of this year feels far, but then again saying 2014 will be here in two months is crazy!! I dont know where this year went ;)
ReplyDeleteI too can't believe how quickly the year is FLYING by! I feel like I just brought my little girl home from the hospital and she'll be turning one next week! Where did the time go?
ReplyDeleteAnd you're talking Thanksgiving already? I need to get on the ball for that one. I think I just need to first get past my baby's birthday party and then I'll start thinking decor. I do love the holiday decorations :-).
This year has gone by fast, but looking forward to see what goodness 2014 will bring. It actually started to rain here last night. We stayed in and had our own Halloween night.
ReplyDeleteI'm stopping by from The Collective. I just wanted to let you know I started following on google friend connect!
