Memorial Day Weekend

Just in time for the 4th of July holiday- here is our recap of Memorial Day. And now I can come to expect that this weekend's holiday festivities will be ready in time for... Labor Day!
**********************
I always enjoy a long weekend. Long weekends are a time for family get togethers, laughing, reminiscing, eating, and plain old good times. My parents and brother came to visit us and let me tell you- I was excited! We normally go back "home" but to have them visit us is always heartwarming to me. Anyway- we went craft beer tasting, wine tasting, ate, laughed, and just relaxed. Relaxing is a very important thing we often don't have time to do.

Here is my recap in pictures:

My family headed back home on Monday. They left relatively "early" so we still had a good portion of the day to enjoy what turned out to be beautiful weather. So, my little family of three headed out to a little lake town. We had wanted my parents to join us but we never got the time to go. It is definitely on our to do list for next time they visit. I'm sure once they read this I'm going to get a text or a phone call about this part...

Isn't that water beautifully clear??

That's going to be be house one day. Don't worry I'll invited you over for a bar-be-que :)

I love how this photo captures a moment in time from two different angles. We like taking pictures of our boy!

Memorial Day Weekend was a blast and I can't wait for the next long weekend.

  5. Hey there! Just stopping by to say thanks for stopping by my blog and entering our giveaway! As long as you pinned the image, (it doesn't matter how), than it certainly counts. Of course, there should have been a link in the giveaway that reads pin it. I think people have been having problems with that particular entry though; so no worries :o)

Hope you're having a wonderful week and I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
