Ahhh. My final thoughts of Thanks. When I first started writing this I didn't think it would be so hard. But I didn't want to be redundant, I wanted each week to have a theme, and therefore putting myself withing those writing limits made this more difficult than I originally hoped. But I whenever I feel like things aren't going write I can use this as a reference to show just how much is right.

30 Days of Thanks
Days 1 through 6
Days 7 through 12
Days 13 through 18
{DAY 19}I love having a Mother's helper! She comes in once a week and helps me out while hubby is at school. She plays with, occupies, and is just plain awesome with my little guy while I get some mama duties done like cook, laundry, and cleaning. She's usually only there for about two hours but it's amazing how much you get done without someone pulling on your leg!
{Day 20} My neighbors shoveled our front walk while we were away for the weekend. I'm thankful for that! It's been snowing almost once a day for about a week. They knew we were out of town for the weekend and lent a hand while we were out! So one morning my hubby got up and after doing our front he did theirs as a thank you. Well, the next morning they did ours again. It's now become a game of who can do whose first.

Thoughts...
Every once in a while you need a brain dump. I'm unloading right here....
Don't forget I'm still co-hosting this awesome giveaway!! You know black Friday, small business Saturday, and cyber Monday are this weekend. How awesome would it be to have some extra shopping money?! Hop to it- ya only got one day left!
Our family pictures are back!!! I'm so excited! We have quite a few to choose from and that's what I would call a success. I absolutely loved what our photographer was able to capture. She deserves a gold medal. I'm going to be sharing a few sneak peeks with you soon- so stay tuned!!
I need a vacation. Like a plane ride away with ocean water, a bathing suit, and an umbrella drink type of vacation. Although I'd settle for a car trip and bathtub. I just need a few moments to not be someone's employee, take a break from all of the obligations and rigmarole.
I didn't know how to spell rigmarole until I needed to write how much I needed a vacation.
It's Thanksgiving y'all!!! I've been waiting for today for quite sometime. I'm usually good for dessert so I made apple pie, sweet potato pie, and I'll probably throw in one more item as the day goes on (depending on if I can get some kitchen space). Now I'm off to go eat until I have to be rolled away from the table :) Hope you enjoy!
BONUS!!!!! Use code FREECAL at Shutterfly.com to get a free 8x11 calendar. Make a great Christmas gift!
I'm linking this post up {tomorrow} with Darci, April, Christina, and Natasha for 5 on Friday. I have something else I want to post tomorrow and I have this thing with posting twice o the same day. So, you got my 5 a little early :) Ok- for real, I'm off to eat.

Favorite Things {stocking stuffers}
After all the presents are unwrapped, the wrapping paper is cleared, and the joy of the moment is lingering in the air- you look over to see that there is one more thing that has been left for you with care.
I'm a fan of stocking stuffers. I've always like the idea of the little surprises waiting for you in your stocking. As a child I remember getting silly putty, chap stick, and every single year my parents would put a slinky in our stocking because we would manage to twist our up by January. Honestly, I'm not sure how we did it but it happened every.single.year.
My parents didn't have a mantle to hang stocking from so they usually hung from the sill of their stained glass windows. Each of the children has a stocking careful hung every year and each Christmas it was filled with the little things that we loved. So last year, I decided to get my parents stockings so that they can join in on the joy of peeking in their stockings.
I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who care about stuffing stockings every year so here are my picks for great stocking stuffers!

{DAY 13} How else would I remember doctor's appointments, birthdays, or where I need to be this weekend? Technology... that's how! I have come to rely on my phone to help me manage this busy lifestyle I've taken on and I'm grateful for it! When I think about what I would do if I didn't have the calendar (or address book) in my phone I think back to when my mom would schedule a doctor's appointment for me and she would pull out her pocket calendar with a copious amount of business cards wedged in between the months and I shudder. And it's funny because I think she still uses it even though my dad gifted her an iPhone last year and her purse weighs the same as new born baby.

Raindrops on roses and...
Eeep! I'm not exactly sure why I'm so excited about this but I am. Today I am sharing with you a few of my favorite things. It's just like the Oprah special but not.... And with the Christmas season in full swing why not share a few things that I like.
1. I love this t-shirt! It fits my personality so well. I love taking pictures especially of my little guy and this t-shirt tells that story all too well.
2. This has got to be the most amazing memory card ever!

Pinspiration for my HHJ
I'm stuck in a hair rut. This isn't new and in fact happens every couple of months. There are days when I want to cut it or put it into cornrows withe extensions added for length. Once, I've eve caught myself thinking abut going natural! I don't think that'll happen at anytime but I'll never say never. Being in a hair rut sometime causes me to unnecessarily hating my hair. I'm almost desperate guys!
Over the weekend I was thinking about what I should be doing with my hair when it hit me. I knew I had a pin on my Glam Momma board that I could easily do to take me out of a hair rut (at least for a few days). So I went searching and found the pin I was thinking of:
You guys- I've been "pinspired"!

WW: outtakes
This picture is actually from quite some time ago. However, as I was digging for something else I came across it and it literally made me laugh out loud! This things you have to go through to get a good picture. At least I managed to get somewhat of a good final product!

30 Days of Thanks
Days 1 through 6. You know what? I'm definitely going to keep it real and say this: This week was hard! Part of the reason why it was so hard is because I put limits on myself. Last week was all about the people I am thankful for in my life, this week was all about the "stuff" that is so ever present that I almost forget that it's something that not ever one has... in a way.
{DAY 7} My home. There's not a day that goes by where I'm not thankful that we live in a beautiful home, on a lot surrounded by grass.

The Sickies
I remember how this started all too well. It was Saturday
May 4th. I woke up feeling “funny”. Not unusually funny but I just
knew I was getting sick. I was super congested, slightly runny nose and
downright exhausted.
I continued about my day having bouts of feeling “okay” but
I didn’t even hold my Godson for fear of getting him sick. However, by Monday
night I had gotten progressively worse. So much so I had gotten to the point of
resorting to taking my prescription strength Motrin for the pain in my throat.
Within a few hours I would feel like ‘myself’ again even if that only lasted a
few hours. Then just as the sore throat stated to ease up I began having
coughing attacks. Horrible coughing attacks. Finally after a near meltdown at
work- I found an allergist and sent out an SOS signal.
I was so happy that there wasn’t a long wait to get an
appointment. Honestly, I had waited so long I’m not sure how much I could take.
The allergist did a very thorough initial exam and I thought I knew what the
outcome would be.
You see, I’ve been down this road before.

What to wear- ladies edition
So, we're embarking on this family pictures this weekend and since I shared what I though my guys should wear I decided to post what my imaginary daughter and I would wear as well. Don't worry- I haven't lost my marbles quite yet.

My very first fashion post
Today we are embarking on a journey. Wish us luck because we are attempting our annual family pictures! Last year was a mess. Due to a severe lack of planning I choose to do studio portraits and despite having an appointment (these means nothing) we waited about an hour and a half, my son had gone crazy by then and my husband had run out of patience. To top it all off we didn't even get to shoot with the photographer who I wanted! The icing on the cake?! My son wouldn't keep his shoes on. Oy!

October Photo-a-Day
This month- I decided to do an Instagram photo-a-day project. And let me tell you- I'm quite proud of the results! The Fall Mini Style challenge was hosted by Aliya and AP and featured clothing prompts for your mini. I loved it because not only did I have some one pick out his clothes for me everyday, but it's also the most I've ever posted on IG.
I tried to do the last one they hosted back in May and I ended up bombing completely. I think this time around it was easier for me to keep up with because

30 Days of Thanks
Everyone else is doing it... and so am I. I like it because it gives me a chance to stop, reflect and be grateful for my many blessings. Sometimes, I don't think I do it enough.
My plan is to show what I'm thankful for via photography. It'll be crappy iPhone pictures for the most part because all of my cameras are out of commission but I'm still gonna plug along regardless.
This week will probably the easiest and most obvious. These are my first six days of thanks (in no particular order).

Mind Right Monday: November
I can't believe I only have one of these left. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to continue this into 2014- but who knows.
Goals for this month:
- Seriously try to increase my liquid intake. I know I'm dehydrated and that's not a good thing. I just hate having to constantly go to the bathroom. Normally I'm all about water- but now I just need some form of liquid to not be dehydrated anymore.

Five on Friday
Happy November!!!
{First}
I can't believe there are only two months left in 2013. Yep, let that sink in....
I guess time really does fly when you're having fun, huh?
